Helping Hands Food Pantry
History
Helping Hands
The Helping Hands program has been a ministry of John Knox Presbyterian Church for several decades. It was started with the sole intent of providing monetary assistance to those in our community experiencing financial crisis- providing everything from grocery gift cards to gas and car payments to rental assistance.
Now in partnership with our food ministry, the Helping Hands Food Pantry exists to provide aid to food insecurity, offer financial assistance, and ensure access to further resources- including mental health support, additional food resources, housing communities, and more.
Donations are always welcome and needed.
How to Help
DONATIONS
There is a blue food pantry donation bin located at the back of the sanctuary. Donations can also be placed directly in the food pantry, which is located at the top of the stairs inside the front doors of the church.
The food pantry accepts all donations of non-perishable food items, as well as sanitary, hygiene, and paper products. For a full list of needed items, please click the button below.
